LymeGrinder 2022 - Sat. April 9th

Please join us for the final running of the LymeGrinder gravel event.

Details are up on the website now. Check them out here.

A couple additional notes:

Please arrive early - we will have pre-ride announcements at 8:55am. Roll out at 9am.

Please park in the rear of the Dunn Bros. parking lot - to preserve the front of the lot for shoppers while we ride. Overflow parking at the church nearby. Check out the maps on the FAQ page for more info.

Ride not a race:

This is a ride not a race. We will depart and return to Dunn Bros. this year. Ride it fast, ride it hard. Have fun.

This is our main fundraiser ride benefiting MN Lyme Assoc. Our family and many of the riders in the club, as well as across MN have been impacted by Lyme's disease in one way or another. The MN Lyme Assoc. provides continuing education for medical professionals to better learn the symptoms and how to detect Lyme's disease and the options for testing and treating it. They also provide monthly support and informational meetings for people in the metro area affected by it. Through this ride, we raise funds to support their mission. There will be opportunity to donate by cash or check, and there are links to PayPal and Venmo on the event webpage.

This year there are no prizes or swag. However, we will have our new Camelbak Podium Hugo Gravel water bottles for sale as well. They are $17/ea. and can be purchased at the check-in tables. Proceeds benefit the club and it's maintenance costs.

Please fill out a waiver online if you plan to ride.

Route notes:

There are 2 routes to choose from. A 37 mile tour of the finest gravel roads near Hugo. As well as a 50 mile rolling ramble. They follow the same course until mile 23 at which time the longer route splits off to the east for some rollers. The routes rejoin again where May Ave. intersects Hwy 4.

The routes are about 60/40 gravel to pavement. So bring your faster rolling tires to save some watts and time.

There are no c-stores or water stops on the route. Please come prepared with enough water and nutrition.

Please hang around after the ride and enjoy some coffee and food from the local establishments. We'd love to hear about your ride and journey.
